We are seeking a full-time Purchasing Assistant /Logistics Coordinator to join the team at our main office in Emeryville. ASG has a dynamic work environment with constant exposure to the latest equipment, software and best practices for the Audio Video industry. As the Logistics Coordinator you will interact directly with vendors, ASG sales people and clients. Communication and organizational skills are key to success in this position. Must have excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently on tasks when assigned.
Create and place orders with vendors and assist in obtaining details for delivery
Create sales order packing slips
Input and process Returns
Status purchase orders
Complete sales order packets and move to Finance for processing
Assist Sales with information on client deliveries
General office backup to include inside sales, shipping and receiving.
Must have at least 3 years purchasing experience
Experience with Sage50 Quantum, MAS90, or similar accounting programs a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to provide great customer service
Skilled computer abilities and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
College degree a plus
Must be proactive and willing to be flexible in a small business setting
