DESCRIPTION:

We provide managed support services at a 20,000 square foot video production facility owned by a major player in the online video space.

We are seeking a Studio Assistant to join our team at the facility.  This role provides support to a wide variety of productions, events & educational programs, making use of the studio and post production environments in the facility.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the management of production calendar with attention to detail of Production crossover with Events & Educational programming
  • Updating Production forecast documents
  • Send daily team update of studio schedule
  • Onsite support for productions with occasional assistance to events and educational programs
  • Function collaboratively between departments
  • Perform a wide variety of organizational tasks which relate to in-house productions, including but not limited the organization of equipment bookings, data entry, audience check ins, procuring talent needs, green room & staff catering
  • Occasional on-site monitoring of Saturday productions to enforce studio policy
  • Assist with the tracking of success metrics of productions, including attendance and sentiment
  • Provide tours and share a depth of knowledge with the clients of the production facility
  • Distribute communications surrounding production programing on a variety of digital platforms
  • Community Social Media in tandem with established responsibilities included but not limited to live tweeting & procuring talent photos

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in video production
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Ability to take a service-oriented approach to this position, with a desire to help clients achieve their best result
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to react quickly and positively under a wide variety of situations
  • Familiarity with processes & procedures of a television production environment  
  • Customer service experience a plus
